Eastern Controls Inc. of Pennsylvania dba Eastern Controls operates in an industry highly regulated, standardized and scrutinized. Where required the equipment must meet strict standards (ASME, IEEE, AICHE). Electrical equipment must meet FM or UL standards, while procedures and equipment are required to comply with NIST. The NRC also regulates our valve and instrument offerings into the nuclear industry. Certain plants require explosion-proof equipment within their facilities or equipment that senses the potential for such a catastrophic situation. Eastern Controls has succeeded for fifty years in this sometimes-hazardous workplace environment.

Our company is more than just a manufacturer’s representative and distributor. We are a trusted solutions provider specializing in automation, instrumentation, and process controls. We maintain a staff of a dozen application specialists. Furthermore, we are an authorized repair center for valves and instrumentation, as well as the calibration of instruments and sensors in accordance with NIST standards. We employ a staff of over fifteen (15) factory-trained service technicians. We also are often asked to combine our equipment with other suppliers and have both the engineering and service talent to handle these requirements.

The products that we sell are generally used to automate plants and factories mostly of an industrial or pharmaceutical nature. Some of our products are used in commercial operations, as well as schools, government, and military.
